A short week

Hey,
I hope everyone is doing fine!

This week was a bit slower for me. I took a couple of days off because I had friends visiting. I made them play the first level of my game though!
I also pitched my game on Baba’s stream, and his feedback was very interesting:
I’m missing a hook.

So, it’s back to the drawing board for me!

In the meantime, I’m also trying to move a lot of my stuff outside of US tech.
There’s a really useful website to find European alternatives!

I’m currently self-hosting some services:

• RSS reader: Miniflux
• Personal Cloud: Nextcloud
• Notes: Obsidian
• Tasks: Nextcloud Tasks

I also moved to some of the suggested alternatives:

• Messaging: Signal
• Search engine: Qwant
• Password Manager: Bitwarden.eu
• git: codeberg.org
• pages: codeberg.page (I just migrated this blog today!)

I still have to migrate from:

• Gmail → soverin.com
• Cloudflare:
  • Registrar → OVH
  • Tunnel → ?
• Todoist: Maybe this one is fine?
• Windows: I love Linux but I’m forced to use Windows at work for now
• Google: No viable alternatives to Android & Youtube for now

Finally ended up migrating from todoist to Nextcloud Tasks & Tasks.org.
I’m just missing a good Windows web/desktop frontend.
